Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Truewidgets (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business.

1. The Service

Truewidgets lets you collect and display your business reviews in embeddable widgets, and — where you connect it — manage your Google Business Profile (reviews, business information, services, posts, and photos). We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• connect or manage a Google Business Profile or other listing you do not own or are not authorised to manage;
• post false, misleading, unlawful, or infringing content, or manipulate or fabricate reviews;
• misuse, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• use the Service to violate any applicable law or any third-party terms (including Google's).

4. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as Google and Stripe. Your use of those integrations is also subject to their terms and policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services. Google Business Profile data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Plans, billing & cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring (monthly or annual) basis through Stripe until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Fees may change with prior notice.
• A free plan is offered as-is and may change over time.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content and business data you provide. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display it solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Truewidgets and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or resell the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cached third-party data (such as reviews) will always be current.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truewidgets will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, the rights granted to you end and we may delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date; your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Truewidgets is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
