Add your Google reviews to a Framer website
About three minutes. You need a free Truewidgets account and your widget’s code.
Framer: in a page
Our Framer plugin, Truewidgets Reviews, isn’t on Framer’s Marketplace yet. Until it is, use an Embed:
- In Framer, click Insert, choose Embed, then HTML.
- Paste your Truewidgets code, and add this line at the very top of it:
<!-- framer-direct-embed -->. Without it, Framer puts code with a script inside a separate box that can’t grow. - Publish your site to see your reviews: Framer doesn’t run custom code on the canvas.
Framer: on every page (floating badge)
First, in Truewidgets, choose the Floating badge layout for a widget in “Change how it looks”, then copy its code from “Get the code”.
- In Framer, open Project Settings → Custom Code, and click Add Script.
- Paste your floating badge’s code, choose End of <body> on all pages, and click Save.
- Publish your site.
Not showing up?
- Nothing on the canvas: Framer doesn’t run custom code there. Publish, and check your live site.
- The reviews are stuck in a small box: add
<!-- framer-direct-embed -->at the very top of the Embed’s code.
